To locate the Far Cry 6 configuration file, navigate through your PC following the following steps:

The place where you should paste the route is the same as mentioned above when you are looking for the location of the Save file.

The default format of the configuration file, as you can see in the previous snapshot, is .xml. But for some reason, if it is necessary to edit the file, you can do so by opening it with the notepad or wordpad.

Note: Although the configuration file is editable, we strongly recommend that you do not attempt to edit it, unless, of course, you are familiar with the encoding of the configuration file and be absolutely sure that any change you do will not make the game Break.
