Fortnite: Epic Games Disables all emotes during March Through Time

Epic Games recently added an interactive Martin-Luther-King Jr. Museum to its popular Battle-Royale Fortnite. On this new card, players of the iconic speech of the civil rights activists can listen and learn some historical facts about the time at that time.

Many players were positive at the campaign, after all, Fortnite (Buy Now 37,81 €) One of the most popular games in the world and can therefore achieve many people with such an action. Likewise, however, many were a little more skeptical, such as the Game-Critic Chris Franklin. For him, the event just seems a bit strange, considering that players can carry a Rick Sanchez or Xenomorph costume, while they listen to the speech.

Franklin also stressed that after leaving the event card, he stared at a loading screen of the Battle-Royales, which gave him the tip that head shots do significant damage. This is definitely not very good, considering that Martin Luther King Jr. was tragically to the victim of an attendant in 1968.

Epic has probably not to worry about many thoughts, as certain things could work on users. In addition, players received some specific emotes for the event, but could use every emotion of the game on the new map.

This, of course, ensured that players disguised as Batman, Rick Sanchez, or similar licensed figures, and their numerous emotes used, while King's speech played. Epic Games has now reacted to this and closed all the emotes during the March-Through-Time Experience. The only exception are the eight exclusive emotes created for the event. Among them are, for example, a downstream and protesting emote.

The community responded to a little double column. For example, some Twitter users would have liked that all skins are also disabled on the new card. Finally, the message, which is to be distributed here, takes a lot of seriousness when you see Ryu from Street Fighter Gangnam-style dancing while listening to the speech.

According to fornite insider, Epic Games actually has some toxic emotes, such as throwing tomatoes, has already disabled to publish the event. So it's a bit strange that the company was waiting for so long until they also removed the remaining emotes.
