Diablo 2 Resurrected has a problem for many and the solution will be PC

A mouse button is an electrical switch on a computer mouse which can be pressed ( clicked ) to choose or engage with an aspect of a graphical customer interface. Mouse buttons are most commonly carried out as a miniature snap-action buttons (mini switches). The three-button scrollmouse has become the most typically available layout. Users most generally utilize the 2nd button to conjure up a contextual menu in the computer's software interface, which includes choices especially tailored to the user interface component over which the guideline currently sits. By default, the primary mouse button rests located on the left-hand side of the mouse, for the benefit of right-handed individuals; left-handed users can normally reverse this configuration via software.

The Release of Diablo 2 Resurrected is shortly before and many fans are already waiting to gamble the old game in a new graphic. However, a problem employs a part of the community: Hotkeys for skills.

What is the problem? In the Remaster of Diablo 2, the skills of your classes can be provided with hotkeys. On the PC, this is about the keys F1-F12, with which you call up to 12 different skills.

The function is quite simple:

You call the options and sets any key as a hotkey for a skill You call the skills in your bar (mouse button via the action keys) Moves the mouse over a skill and presses the button to which the skill should be bound

Why is there a problem? In this way, you bind a skill to a button, but does not use it. Instead, you set it up and then have to activate it with the left or right mouse button.

The system still comes from ancient times and is now overtaken. In modern ARPGs like Diablo 3, a capability activates as soon as you press the corresponding key. In resurrected, this will not be the case: where you put a skill via F button on the right mouse button and then activates it.

PlayStation and Xbox provide the solution

How will the problem be solved? Diablo 2 Resurrected fortunately offers further options for controlling. Since the game will also be playable on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, controllers can also be used for the controller - even on the PC.

As soon as you use a controller, the interface changes. Instead of the two active skills on the lower picture edge of the edge, you have 6 to choose from. One of the trigger keys can be called up a second bar so that you can use a total of 12 skills.

Unlike mouse and keyboard, the skills on the controller are used directly. So you do not put them only on an activation key. Drinks you use the control cross.

Controllers can also be connected to the PC.

Purists who only play with mouse and keyboard, but have to adapt to cumbersome entries. For console players, this is probably the only real advantage. Because they probably lack the most important feature of Diablo 2, the lobby.

Is there an alternative? In a Q & A in May, the development team still said that the activation of the skills should be maintained for the time being. Whether it changes to release or after that something else must still show - a real alternative is not there.

However, the DEVs even play with the idea of taking a system from Diablo 3. Maybe even in the control is still improved.

How is you the thing? Would you wish that the team deals more on modern ARPGs and overworked systems like the control? Or belongs to the hardcore fans for which the choosing and activating the skills makes the game fun? So or so does not have everything at the old at the Remaster:
