Hytale developer taken over by Riot Games

Hypixel Studios will preserve operational independence while benefiting from Riot s resources.

Hypixel Studios Working on the Expected Sandbox Role Play hytale was taken over by Riot Games. The latter is known for liga of legends together with upcoming titles such as competitive fps valorant and digital CCG 1 legend from runeterm . Dylan Jadeja, President of Riot Games recently announced in a statement that studio Hypixel has been advising for one and a half years.

By the acquisition, Riot Games is closer with hypixel, the latter remaining relatively unchanged. The company will have an office in Derry / Londonderry in Northern Ireland and currently sets 20 new jobs for quality assurance and backoffice. Hytale is currently planned for 2021 and has a fairly strong response from the minecraft community so far.

In development since 2015, hytale offers a procedural world generated world along with more fantasy elements. It has mini-games, biomes and dungeons and allows players to create custom content and mods. While the publication is still a long way, the first announcement trailer has to today over 50 million views.
