On May 14, 2022, the horror game Alan Wake celebrates his 12th birthday. In order to celebrate this day accordingly, developer Remedy uploaded a new video on the in-house YouTube channel. In the so -called Anniversary Update, Creative Director Sam Lake talks about the future of the brand.

First of all, the remastered collection by Alan Wake next autumn for the Nintendo Switch will appear. For PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox family and the PC, this version has been available since October 2021.

In addition, it is now clear that the TV series is produced by AMC. ** The US TV station is particularly known for successful series such as The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. However, it is not yet clear when the Alan-Wake series should be released.

Of course there was also talk about Alan Wake 2. According to Lake, the sequel develops well and large parts of the games can already be played. You shouldn't expect tangible information or even a trailer yet. Remedy does not want to rush the idea of the game.
